AIIMS, Gorakhpur is one of the new AIIMS established as a part of the initiative under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health and family welfare, Govt. of India. It is one of the four ‘Phase-IV’ All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced by the Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare (MoHFW). An outpatient department (OPD) started on 24 February 2019 and the first batch of 50 MBBS students started later that year, making it one of six AIIMS to become operational in 2019. AIIMS, Gorakhpur will follow the mandate of all other AIIMS to become a leader in Health services and be a Centre of excellence in Medical Education Technology (MET) in the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
Candidates should have obtained or will attain the age of 17 years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission.
Candidates born on or after 2nd January 2005 are not eligible to apply.
The minimum aggregate of the marks in the examination for General and OBC candidates is 60%, for SC/ST candidates 50% & for PWD candidates 45%.
Without NEET you are not eligible for counseling.
