All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raebareli (also known as AIIMS Raebareli) was approved in February 2009 under Phase-II of Pradhan Mantri Sawasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) at an approved cost of Rs. 823 crores. AIIMS Raebareli is a medical research public institute & hospital, located in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, and one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences. It operates under the mentorship of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). The institute started its first OPD in 2018. AIIMS Raebareli offers a 5.5-year MBBS program at the UG level. Admission to the institute is offered through merit scores in the NEET UG entrance exam. AIIMS Raebareli campus is spread over 148 acres of land.

AIIMS Raebareli Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

  • Candidates should have obtained or will attain the age of 17 years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission.
  • Candidates born on or after 2nd January 2005 are not eligible to apply.
  • The minimum aggregate of the marks in the examination for General and OBC candidates is 60%, for SC/ST candidates 50% & for PWD candidates 45%.
  • Without NEET you are not eligible for counseling.

Facilities:

Hostel:

The college provides free Wi-Fi in hostels, academic block, OPD and AYUSH block. The classrooms are well-equipped in form of lecture theatres 1 and 2. For 1st year, the anatomy department has a proper histology lab with proper microscopes and a dissection hall with 3 cadavers.

Library:

The Central Library at AIIMS Raebareli is being developed to meet the assorted needs of the students, faculty, and staff of the Institute. The first batch of 50 students has been given a collection of textbooks on Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Community Medicine. Beginning with a collection of almost 600 references and textbooks on different subjects, the Library aims to cater for print as well as online issues of noteworthy journals, books, and magazines. Separate E-Library sections and reading sections have been planned for the convenience of the readers.
